Helena-Reet Ennet is the CEO of Gossip Media and the “Ohmygossip Couture” brand owner. At the age of 14 Helena-Reet entered the Mainor Business School to study economy. After that she had different occupations at big companies, secretary-accountant and development manager being some of them. Before Helena-Reet´s elder daughter Estella was born, she was the chief editor of online magazine Buduaar.ee.

Lets find out how she created her own brand “Ohmygossip Couture”, where the products are available, and how she is planning her time in the best possible way.

Five years ago, while expecting her first child, Helena-Reet Ennet felt that time was right for creating something of her very own. Before that she had collaborated with several outstanding businessmen like Toomas Sildmäe, Felix Mägus, Harri Veering and the late Andres Eesmaa.  While living in Los Angeles she also worked together with the major players. “It´s easy to learn from the big ones and I was lucky to get the chance,” Helena-Reet says. “At one point, however, you feel that this is not enough. You feel that you´re capable of doing more than being a CEO or a chief editor. You’re capable of running a company of your own.  The idea was not born overnight, of course. It took shape gradually, step by step. I´m very happy that I said “no” to every other project offered, and committed myself to Gossip Media LLC, which is a registered company, the advertised and sold products being registered trademarks for years.”

“Ohmygossip Couture” brand sells women’s, men’s and children’s clothing, accessories, bags, and also bric-a-brac. A new trend is for example the super cute “Hamsa – products”. None of “Ohmygossip Couture” products is a random shirt, jacket or painting – Helena-Reet is a deeply religious person whose primary cause is cultural values. Each product carries a soul, spirit, character and history. “We have no mass production. Every creation has a personal touch and each symbol, let it be the fabric for example, is thoroughly elaborated,” Helena-Reet explains. “I was inspired by the “Juicy Couture” sucess story – two women starting from nowhere – today you can shop in their boutiques in the streets of New York. I believe that dreams come true when you believe in them! Still, so far I´d call this whole venture of mine for a hobby, as long as expenses exceed the profit. It goes without saying that at the moment my number one priority is taking care of my two girls – Estella Pärn, four, and Ivanka Pärn, two years old,” Helena-Reet says.

Gossip Media LLC also owns the entertainment, news, and women directed portals “Ohmygossip.com”; “LA-Exclusive.com” and “Gossip.ee”, clothing and accessories brand “Ohmygossip Couture”, as well as the casting and models agency “Ohmygossip Models”. At this moment “Ohmygossip Couture” products are not available in Estonia but soon it will be possible to order the products in Estonia as well, Helena Reet says. Unfortunately, the prices are relatively high as they are aimed at the foreign market.

“Ohmygossip Couture” worldwide representative is Kristiina “Bellanova” Raudsepp who presents women’s clothing and accessories in local magazines, on their banners and online editions. “We’re not so great that we could speak of presenting a brand like Natalia Vodianova, Carmen Kass, Heidi Klum or any other world-famous model does. I’m an averige “desperate housewife” trying to invest in the right way with the help of my husband and my ideas. Let´s say that if everything turns out to be a success, that´s great –  if not, life just goes on. I strongly believe that the most important thing in life is to do what you love, have faith in yourself and your family, give your utmost –  then your dreams may come true. “Ohmygossip Couture” girls collection is presented by my daughters Estella and Ivanka. Boys collection is presented by two little Jewish boys Elicha Cohen, and Steven Mordechai C.,” Helena-Reet tells.

Helena-Reet doesn´t plan her time very strictly. “I think my biggest asset is that I wake up very early full of energy. I love what I am doing. Actually, it´s quite a “funny business” when you have two little children to take care of. But it´s a hobby and I don´t do it just for money. Not that I don´t care for money. I do, and very much so. But money is not the one and only goal,” Helena-Reet cuts a long story short.
