Estonian PM Jüri Ratas met with the Estonian Jewish Community’s chairman Boris Oks and the cheif rabbi Šmuel Efraim Kot

NordenBladet – Estonian prime minister Jüri Ratas met in Stenbock with the Estonian Jewish Community’s chairman Boris Oks and the cheif rabbi Šmuel Efraim Kot on Tuesday 9 May. In the meeting they spoke about Estonian Jewish Community’s history and actions.

The conversation touched more in depth the jewish communities action in the world and Estonian jewish community’s connections and role on the global scale. Prime minister Ratas showed his delight that the Estonian Jewish Community is strong and stressed that it has always had an important role in Estonian economic, science-related and cultural life. In addition, they changed their thoughts about the current international affairs.
