Sweden – On Thursday 14 February, The Crown Princess visited SIPRI, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
SIPRI is an independent international research institute that studies issues relating to peace and conflict, with a focus on disarmament. SIPRI was founded in 1966 to mark 150 years of uninterrupted peace in Sweden.
The Crown Princess’s visit began with a welcome from SIPRI’s Chairman Jan Eliasson. The Crown Princess then learnt about SIPRI’s work, vision and activities.
