The King of Sweden presents medals to athletes

NordenBladet – On Wednesday 20 February, The King awarded HM The King’s Medal for Contributions within Swedish Sport during a ceremony in Princess Sibylla’s Apartments at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

The medal, which was newly inaugurated in 2019, is 5th size in gold, with a horizontal gold bay leaf twig on the ribbon.

Athletes have previously received HM The King’s Medal in 8th size in recognition of outstanding services.
